Casa Mar en Key Largo

The only thing between the house and the ocean is a row of palms.

An hour out of Miami and the water turns turquoise. This one sits right on it - a private stretch of sand under coconut palms, a long timber dock running out over the flats, and a pool set on the deck facing the open water. Inside it is all white: vaulted ceilings with skylights, a marble waterfall island in the kitchen, and living rooms that open straight onto the sea breeze. In the evening the sun goes down at the end of the dock.
